Here’s What’s Up
Families to Freedom received over 40 child car seats and two large boxes of booster seats. All seats need to be cleaned including plastic shells, buckles, belts and covers. More hands, and fun, will make this an easy project! Great for ages teen to retired.

The Contest
Two Clubs of volunteers will compete to finish first for prizes (gift cards and fun stuff) from a prize bucket and a group photo of the winners shared on social media and right here! The Booster Club will handle booster seats, the easiest seats to clean while the Big Ones Club will handle five-point harness big seats. The big seats are slightly more challenging but there are fewer. Which Club will win??

Car Seat Cleaning
If you like cleaning projects and enjoy puzzles, this might be a great role for you! We receive used car seats that need to be cleaned and made ready for travel. Activities include:
- Removing a seat's fabric, belts and buckles
- Label and number seat components
- Washing the covers at a laundromat/washateria
- Wipe down the plastic shells
- Reassembling the covers and belts
This is a group event in the parking lot of an office building.
